to animals. Police say that about a dozen cats had to be put
down at her home. But this is just part of the story.
See, this is just another case of a celebrity turning out to be
nothing more than just another flawed human being. I was a
big Missing Person’s fan back in the day. Hits like
“Destination Unknown” and “Words” turned them into a pop
sensation and me into a lifelong fan of their music.
And yes, I am still a fan of their music. I don’t approve of
what Dale did, assuming she is guilty, but it doesn’t take
away from what she and Missing Persons gave us as
musicians.
If we stopped listening to the music of every artist who ever
did something wrong, we’d have very little music to listen
to. Even the Beatles took drugs, which is, after all, illegal.
So while today may be a black eye on Missing Persons and
Dale Bozzio, let’s try to remember their great music.
After all, we’re only human.
